TORONTO, Ontario – January 16, 2008 - reWORKS Environmental Corp. (TSXV: REW) announced today that Scott Gareau has been named as the successor to the interim Chief Financial Officer Marcel Urbanc.

ReWORKS would like to thank Mr. Urbanc for his contribution to the Corporation during the transition period following the reverse-take-over that occurred on May 14th of last year.

Mr. Gareau has been with the company for the past four years acting as the financial controller for the operating company.  Mr. Gareau brings with him an excellent understanding of the company and its operations.  With his ten years experience in financial accounting, Mr. Gareau will prove to be a valuable asset in the future growth of the organization.  Mr. Gareau has held various financial positions in both manufacturing and service industries.
