Toronto, Ontario - July 10, 2007 - Gary Gould, President of reWORKS Environmental Corp. ("reWORKS") (TSXV: REW) is pleased to announce that Ralph Morris, Mona Moineddin and Ashwani Kumar have joined the company as Plant Manager, Soil Scientist and Worm Specialist, respectively.
Ralph Morris (P.Eng., B.Eng.), Plant Manager, has extensive experience in plant management in a variety of environments including Collins and Aikman Plastics, Zochem, Georgia Pacific, and Lakeport Brewing Corporation. He is especially skilled in mechanical production line efficiency. This expertise will ensure that reWORKS' patented technology operates at optimal levels as we build production to full capacity.
Mona Moineddin (M.Sc., B.Sc.H), Soil Scientist, is a graduate of the University of Guelph. She has a thorough understanding of soil science, statistical analysis and laboratory technical management, which she gained at the university and while working at Dow AgroSciences Inc. and SemBioSys Genetics. Mona will be guiding our research program as well as ensuring product quality and performance.
Ashwani Kumar (B.Eng.), Worm Specialist, brings many years of experience in the production of worm castings. He has a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process, as well as an in-depth knowledge of worm breeding and worm health procedures and care.
"We are delighted to welcome Ralph, Mona and Ashwani to our management and operations team," said Gary Gould, President of reWORKS. "We are excited to be working with such talented specialists as we build reWORKS into the leading provider of effective, environmentally friendly soil care."
reWORKS, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, reWORKS Inc., manufactures and markets a premium quality, environmentally friendly soil enhancer - known as worm castings - specifically for use in the commercial turf, horticulture and specialty agriculture markets. Ideal for golf courses, sports fields, parks, nurseries, orchards and vineyards, they boost fertility while replenishing the soil with organic matter for longer-term benefits - all in an environmentally friendly way. reWORKS products contain only organic material, which is naturally produced from recycled pre-consumer fruit and vegetable waste. reWORKS' patented, proprietary indoor technology can produce commercial quantities of premium worm castings year round. reWORKS is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario.
